The Neolithic site of Khirbet Hammam has been dated by four radiocarbon dates. The two dates of the East Field do not overlap in the 1-σ range after calibration and thus might either reflect one long continuous or two separate occupations of the site: Beta 221348: 7570-7485 BC; Beta 221347: 7470-7330 BC.

GX 26147 (7520 BC – 7370BC) of the southern excavation unit covers both ranges. Additionally, GX 26146 (7190 BC – 7040 BC) might point to a more recent (re-) occupation of the site. A comment on these dates has to await the publication of the stratigraphy of the site (Peterson 2007).
