The pre-pottery Layer V 1-3 of Ras Shamra dates to the late PPNB, 7500-7130 BC.[1] The younger date GrN 3960 (7030-6640 BC) attributed to the same layer is too recent and the sample was probably dislocated from an upper layer.

[1] 7500-7130 BC (65.4%), 7110-7080 BC (2.8%).
