On the basis of the radiocarbon dates, the occupation of Hayonim Terrace and its use as a burial site can be subdivided into three phases. The oldest phase starts around 11940 BC and lasts until 11490 BC. The second and third phase – if they indeed are phases and not just aberrant dates – would be in the to a time ranges 11470-11260 BC and 11280-11070 BC.

The date OxA-1899 suggests that the site was reused between 9630 and 9320 BC
